We are a Beyond Green-Gold Enviroschool. Check out our wonderful padlet that is a timeline of our journey since 2006 and we are still adding to it today. Our Enviro Leaders meet once a week to lead our school programme. Our learning is integrated through our guiding principle of Kaitiakitanga.
The Kids Edible Garden Programme (KEGs) runs weekly on Wednesday afternoons when a facilitator comes in to work with the students in the garden. The programme is supported by Marlborough District Council. Check out our Blog!
The whole school participates weekly in Kapa Kaha with Matua Hone. Our Ākonga enjoy practising their waiata throughout the week and work towards Taiopenga, a Māori Arts Festival held in October each year in Blenheim.
We are very fortunate to have our Kaumātua who is an important figure in te ao Māori. Matua Hone guides us on how to preserve history and tradition, he nurtures future generations, passing on his knowledge and wisdom and provides guidance and leadership for our kura.
